Madden 17 Defense: 3-4 Bear Pinch Dog 3 Part 3

This is the 3rd and final tip in a 3 part series going over the 3-4 Bear formation in Madden 17.  Part 1 goes over pressure from the left side of the screen and part two goes over pressure from the right.

Today we are covering how to drop into a max coverage defense while keeping the exact same look.

Playbook: Any 3-4 Playbook

Formation: 3-4 Bear

Play: Pinch Dog 3

Setup:

1. – Base Align
2. – Slide the defensive line to your either side
3. – Drop one or both OLB’s into flat/hook zones

Overview: Being able to play coverage and blitz from the same looks is what separates great Madden players from good Madden players. We’ve shown you two ways to send pressure from the same formation, and now with little effort, you can disguise your looks to drop max coverage or drop into a normal cloud cover 3 with a 4 man rush, all while giving the look of sending pressure.
