This eBook is based out of the San Francisco 49ers defensive playbook but many of the plays can be found in other playbooks as well. Keep in mind this ebook is not supposed to act as an official strategy guide. It is just a collection of tips from our team of professional madden gamers organized in a way that is easy to understand.
Important things to maximize your effectiveness in this eBook!
1. Making defensive adjustments can be delayed this year. So if you are used to just speeding through your defensive adjustments, you must check to make sure that they are actually registering. For example, if you crash your defensive line down make sure that they actually crash down. Sometimes you may need to do it 2 times in order for it to work. If you wait a half second between each adjustment, you should be fine.
2. Although it is tempting to try to call nano blitzes the whole game, it is strongly recommended that you don’t. The coverages in this eBook are much more effective than the blitzes. The blitzes become much more effective if your opponent does not leave extra guys in to block.
3. The majority of the nano blitzes in this eBook were filmed with no extra guys blocking. If your opponent is blocking extra guys, you should call a coverage play instead. If he blocks an extra guy, he only has 4 guys to throw to. If you drop 8 guys into coverage, you can now double team every receiver and manually take away on receiver. You want your opponent to have to block extra guys. If he does that, your nano blitzes won’t work as often, but you will win many more games.
4. No nano blitz is 100% effective. Most of the nanos in this ebook will work under the right conditions but you must find the ones that work best for you, your play style, and the team you use. You can’t just call the play and expect it to work like it works in the videos every time. Some will work better for you than others.

I use the Dolphins. They run a 4-3 set. Not sure how useful this will be for me.
It can still be very useful, you just have to make a few adjustments to your depth chart

Yes and yes is the short answer. It isn’t hard to adjust your depth chart one way or another to switch from 4-3 to 3-4 or 3-4 to 4-3. To answer your other questions, we’ll try to come out with some 4-3 schemes a little later in the year.
How do you stop dri archer on toss plays where he just outruns everyone?
Wide formations do a good job of stopping toss plays.
When usering this year in Madden, I am having difficulty getting my player to make a play on the ball. I user the FS and am always in position to make plays over the middle. FS always seems to “freeze” and the ball goes over his head and I get zero animations. This leads to users not afraid to just challenge my users with no repercussions . What settings do you use for ball hawk, heat seeker, switch assist, strafe assist and are you holding the strafe button this year or just using turbo? I hate being in position for the play but can’t get any animations like in years past I have been known for good users on defense. This year early and I can’t even trigger animations. Tips for usering, please!
I am not holding strafe this year (at least not as much as before). I find that when usering the free safety, you just have to keep everything in front of you and when you see a pass, you just break on it and hold Y/triangle. I haven’t really noticed what you’ve experienced so far.

It will work fine with any team. Obviously the higher rated the team the better your results though.
I be getting beat on the 3-4 cover 3 what I need to do an I pass comment but my d line don’t get pressure

Cover 3 is your best bet for what you are looking for. Any cover 3 that has 3 yellow zones is even better.
I stay in the 3 4 bear cover 3 but get killed over top with the 4 vert play so just trying to stop that play
