The Big Dime 2-3-6 is a good formation to use that gives you a few extra cornerbacks on the field. On any of the safety blitzes in this formation, make sure the safeties have time to come down to the line of scrimmage. The plays won’t work unless they are able to creep down before the snap.

Playbook: San Francisco 49ers
Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6
Play: SS Overload 3
Setup:
- Shift your defensive line to the right
- Crash your defensive line down
Overview: The pressure is going to come right up the middle as long as the offense isn’t blocking extra guys on the right side of the screen. If your opponent likes to snap the ball immediately when he gets to the line of scrimmage, do not call this play. Your strong safety will not have time to make his way down closer to the line of scrimmage which will make the play not work correctly.
Playbook: San Francisco 49ers
Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6
Play: 3 Seam Press
Setup:
- Base Align
- Shift your defensive line to the left
- Crash your defensive line to the left
Overview: This 5 man rush brings quick pressure. It isn’t always the same guy that gets through but usually someone will get in untouched unless the offense is blocking extra guys.
Playbook: San Francisco 49ers
Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6
Play: 2 Man Under
Setup:
- Shift your defensive line to the right
- Crash your defensive line down
- Hot route your ROLB (on the left side of the screen) to a yellow hook zone
Overview: We want to have a good man to man max coverage play from this formation to go along with all the pressure. Your opponent should be so worried about the extra pressure that he will block extra guys to stop it. This is when we mix in a max coverage play like this one.
So if a opponent is slide protecting every down, will any of these blitzes work?
It depends on which way they slide protect and what play you call and what play the offense calls. There are just so many factors
anything for the bills divide out of the shotgun bunch its a motion out route thats giving me all kinds of issues in cfm
What is “base align”
It makes it so your defenders do not move out of their normal positions before the snap. It is Y/triangle + right on the left stick.
How i can Crash your defensive line down?
L1/LB + down on the right stick
