Welcome To The Singleback Jumbo Heavy Mini eBook

Welcome to the Madden 17 Singleback Jumbo Heavy Mini eBook.  The mini eBook is all on one page for your convenience and can be viewed below.

This formation forces your opponent to respect the running game.  If you are playing a guy while likes to come out in Nickel or Dime formations in order to set up nano blitzes, you will easily be able to just run the ball until he adjusts.

The best part about this formation is that you can flip any of these plays and attack the other side of the field and your opponent will have no way of knowing.

There are a couple things you should be aware of in order to make this mini ebook most effective.  The quick video below will go over those things and then we will get into the plays.

Let’s dive right in…

Playbook: Run Balanced

Formation: Singleback Jumbo Heavy

  1. Against cover 2 defenses, our primary read is the B/circle receiver deep
  2. Against cover 3 or cover 4, look to the Y/triangle receiver

Kerby… 1. Practice 2. Try lobs, touch passes and bullet passes. Each will give advantages but also add risk depending on coverage and pressure on the qb. I.e. Use a lob or touch pass if feeling pressure but not if someone is picking up the rb in man and is closing. 3. You may not have the right personnel for what you’re trying to do? If you’re constantly on the run when throwing to the swing man, and your qb has a very low throw on the run rating, he’ll always miss it. It’s not you, it’s him. Lol.
