- Hot route your Y/triangle receiver to a drag route
- Motion your X/square receiver to the left a couple of steps and snap it before he gets set
Reads:
- You are always looking to your X/square receiver on the speed out route first
- If he is covered, look to your Y/triangle receiver on the drag route or your tight end up the seam

- Your running back in the flat should be open against man coverage
- You can hit your tight end on the curl route if he is open and everyone else is covered

Reads:
- Your primary read on this play is your running back coming out of the backfield.
Overview: This is a great play to call on a random 3rd and 4 after you have called the other plays in this formation. It is just about an automatic 5 yards if you have a running back who can catch and your opponent doesn’t know it is coming.

Formation: Pistol Bunch TE
Play: Strong Power
Setup:

Formation: Strong Close
Play: PA Scissors
Setup:
- (Optional) Use Twin HB package

- If he is covered, look to your X/square receiver
- If both of those guys are covered, your fullback in the flat is just about guaranteed to be open.
Overview: This play is great for 2 reasons. First, there is no real setup required which means the defense won’t have time to set up. And second, it is a play action pass to go along with the really effective running plays in this formation.

I take this play to the house about 75% of the time…as soon as you get through that hole…go straight to the side line and turn up. Gone!
