Play: FZ 2 Deep
Setup:
- Shift the defensive line to the right
- QB Contain
- Put the left of screen corner that is blitzing in any zone
Overview: This play brings very quick pressure from the right side out of a Quarter formation. This is very effective because it does not blitz many people and has a lot of defenders in coverage. Since it is a Quarter formation the defenders that are in coverage are all corners and safeties.

Setup:
- Shift the defensive line to the left
- QB Contain
- Put the right side of the screen linebacker that’s on the line blitzing in any zone and user him
Overview: This play now sends the pressure from the left, with deeper zones and purple zones to stop routes that are going to the corners. Being able to blitz from either side is essential in a formation to confusing your opponent.

Play: Under Smoke
Setup:
- Shift the defensive line to the left
- QB Contain
- Put the Corner/safety that is blitzing on the right side of the screen in any zone and user him
Overview: This brings very quick pressure from the left side. What makes this very effective is in this formation the opponent will now be used to zone blitzes. This is a man blitz so it will confuse the offense and will not expect the defense to be in man.

Play: Man Up 3 Deep
Setup:
- Shift the defensive line to the right
- Put both of the people on the outside blitzing in purple zones
- User the Safety in the deep blue in the middle of the field
Overview: This play can appear to your opponent that you are still blitzing. When really you have most of the team in coverage. In Madden 17, many people throw streaks and try to bomb defenses, this play will stop your opponent from doing that.

I get where you are coming from. We continue to work on new ebooks. We’ve already released 6 so far and the game isn’t even 2 months old. That is our fastest pace ever and really that isn’t a pace we can sustain in the long run. Rest assured though that we are still hard at working labbing up new schemes.

Nickel 3-3-5 odd may definitely be in the future. We have found some nice stuff out of that formation

What’s the best offensive and defensive formation in your opinion madden school??
You know it really depends. 3-4 Odd is a good base defense, Dollar 3-2-6 is nice. Big Dime 2-3-6 is nice. There are a lot of good formations.
I really like the Nickle 335 odd I still use the one from last year
how do you guys QB Contain without switching to the player(s) that you want to contain the QB?? I been watching your videos and see that you guys don’t switch your players when you set the contain
