Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Big Dime 236
Play: Cover 3 Bluff
Setup:
- Crash the defensive line to Slant Outside
- Put the left side of the screen defensive tackle in a spy

Overview: On this play user the deep safety and you are looking to take away your opponent’s first read which will give time for the blitz to get in. This play only blitzes 3 people with a spy so you have 7 defenders in coverage while getting great pressure.
Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Big Dime 236
Play: Slant Zone 2
Setup:
- Crash the defensive line to the right
- QB Contain
- Put the blitzing left side of the screen corner in any zone
Overview: This play brings the heat from the right side as well, but the key to this play is there are now flat zones. After using the other play a few times and bringing pressure your opponent will think they can throw quick to the flats when they see quick pressure, this play will prevent that and will cause turnovers.
Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Big Dime 236
Play: Buck Slant 3
Setup:
- Crash the defensive line to slant outside
- Put the right side of the screen defensive end on a spy
Overview: After blitzing your opponent from the right many times, they will get used to the pressure coming from the right. This play allows you to send the pressure from the left to catch your opponent off guard, which will result in more sacks.
Playbook: Kansas City Chiefs
Formation: Big Dime 236
Play: Cover 2 Man
Setup:
- Press Coverage
- Put both defensive ends in purple zones
- Put the defensive tackle in a spy (optional)
Overview: This play is very useful because your opponent will start blocking extra people to stop the blitzes. Mixing in this play every once in a while will catch them off guard. Many times they will try to throw something quick because they are used to the pressure and this can result in an interception.
THIS BOOK LOOKS SOLID, CANT WAIT TO LAB IT TONIGHT
would you say this ebook is better than the first defensive one that you released?
I wouldn’t say better, but it is more geared toward playing today and towards a 3-4 defense rather than a 4-3 defense.
Hello. What is “QB Contain”? Could you please explain it?
Thank you!
QB Contain tells your farthest outside rushers not to let the QB get to the sideline so they take a slightly wider blitzing angle.
With the blitzes still work if go user coverage with the spy guy?
Yes if you wait a second after the ball is snapped and then user him in coverage
So I’m trying to do the mut salary cap and I found its best to get hybrid players and play one personalle group. What would you recomend
A nickel formation that you like is good for that because you can do a decent job of stopping the run and still have great pass defense and blitzes.
Is there a play from this set that you like to use against the run?
Generally trying to stop the run from a formation like Dime is extremely hard and I wouldn’t advice it.
When will you could out with a new book…..its been a long time
We just released one yesterday and have a new one coming out today as well.
In your video you said that the Slant Zone 2 blitz can be also be run flipped, allowing the pressure to come in for the right. but you didn’t do an example in your video? Would the set up be the same if I ran it flipped?
Everything would be the same but flipped to the other side
Do you recommend practice this online or CPU
