In today’s Madden 16 tip, we are going over a blitz that can be used to get pressure from either the left or right side of the screen.
It does take a little bit of practice and is somewhat advanced, but once you get it down, it will cause your opponents nightmares.
You can check out the full setup below.
Playbook: Any 3-4
Formation: 3-4 Odd (Normal)
Play: Cover 3 Sky (works for any play though)
Setup:
Left Edge
- Base align
- Show blitz
- Crash DL down
- Blitz the left ILB and ROLB (left on screen) however you want
- Zone the right ILB and LOLB
- Fake blitz over the RT
Right Edge Version 1
- Base align
- Show blitz
- Crash DL down
- Blitz SS
- Fake blitz over the LT
Right Edge Version 2
- Base align
- Show blitz
- Crash DL down
- Blitz the right ILB and LOLB (right on screen) however you want
- Fake blitz over the LT
Summary: This blitz scheme will give you 3 variations of blitzes from the same play and look, and is designed to beat a base 5 man pass protection and still have solid coverage behind it.
It’s always important to have a defensive scheme that can send pressure from both sides of the field from the same look, and we accomplish that with this play. This same scheme can be used to also stop the run as well.
You’re explaining directions way differently from the typed setup I’m very confused

Here is how i undertand it
You DL will occupy LG,C,RG leaving the tackle to defend two blitzers.
You (the user)would fake blitz for a second to distract the free tackle (opposite to where the blitz it coming from)
