Formation: Singleback Wing Flex Close
Play: PA Cross Country
Setup:
- Put the A/X tight end on a streak
- Put the RB/R1 tight end on a flat route
- Put the X/Square receiver on an in route
- Block the running back
- Motion the X/Square receiver out to the left
Reads:
- The main target on this play is the B/O receiver on the deep crossing route
- Then look for the X/Square receiver on the in route
- Finally, if all else fails check down to the RB/R1 tight end in the flats
Overview: In this video we go over a route concept that will flood zone coverage. The flat route is going to bring down the zones while the streak clears everything out so the B/O receiver is wide open.
