Formation: Gun Empty Base Flex

Play: Verticals (Bomb Play)

Setup:

  1. Put the X/Square receiver on a comeback route
  2. Put the A/X tight end on a streak
  3. Put the B/O receiver on an in route and smart route him
  4. Motion the RB/R1 receiver to the left side of the field

Reads:

  1. The main target against a Cover 3 is the RB/R1 receiver deep
  2. Then the main target against a Cover 2 is the A/X tight end up the seam of the field
  3. If those are not there look for the Y/Triangle receiver on the drag
  4. Lastly, find the B/O receiver on the in route over the middle

Overview: In video we go over a great way to destroy Cover 3 and Cover 2 defenses in one play. We also have a nice underneath concept with the drag route and the in route on this play in case they cover the receivers deep.

Playbook: Las Vegas Raiders

Setup:

  1. Put the X/Square receiver on a slant

Reads:

  1. The first read on the play is the Y/Triangle receiver on the drag route
  2. Then look for the X/Square receiver on the slant across the middle
  3. If the user comes down or they play underneath coverage look for the RB/R1 receiver quick up the seam of the field
  4. Finally, look for the A/X tight end deeper over the middle of the field

Overview: Here we go over a good zone beating concept that can attack basically all levels of the field. Using a play like this can really catch your opponent off guard as well since they will be used to seeing the QB Draw from this formation.

Playbook: Las Vegas Raiders

Play: Y Corner

Setup:

  1. Put the RB/R1 receiver on a drag
  2. Put the B/O receiver on a slant
  3. Motion the RB/R1 receiver to the left

Reads:

  1. The main target on the play is the Y/Triangle receiver on the S Post

  3. Then look for the A/X tight end on the corner route
  4. Finally, find the B/O receiver on the slant

Overview: This play is going to absolutely destroy man coverage. As we have shown the QB Draw makes it nearly impossible to use man coverage against this formation but if we get put in a passing down situation we can bring this play out.

Playbook: Las Vegas Raiders

Formation: Gun Empty Trio

Play: QB Draw

Setup:

  1. Flip the run with the right stick

Reads:

  1. Follow the blockers

Overview: In this video we again break down how this is most likely the best run play in the game. Showing how incredible it is against man coverage because the defensive backs just run with the receivers instead of recognizing that the QB is running with the football.

Playbook: Las Vegas Raiders

Formation: Gun Empty Trio

Play: Shallow Cross

Setup:

  1. None Required

Reads:

  1. The main target is the X/Square receiver deep on the post
  2. Then look for the RB/R1 receiver on the crossing route
  3. After that look for the A/X tight end on the drag route
  4. Lastly, if all else fails check down to the Y/Triangle receiver on his drag route

Overview: This play torches man coverage because we can quick snap this play since it is already set up. This will not give our opponent time to adjust and the post will destroy man coverage. Also, since we can quick snap if they are in zone coverage it will be basic zones since we are snapping the ball so quick. This gives us a nice high and low read with the drag and crossing route.
