Madden 17 Will Feature New Announcers

No more Phil Simms and Jim Nantz in Madden 17.  This year Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis will be calling your Madden NFL 17 games.

Here is a video showing some of the new commentary and sounds in Madden 17.

Fans have been asking to replace the announcers in Madden NFL games for years and it looks like EA Sports has finally listened.

One of the really cool things about the commentary in this year’s game is what EA is calling, “See it on Sunday, Hear it in Madden 17.”  Here is how they describe it:

“New to Madden NFL 17 on Xbox One and PlayStation®4 is the ability to add new commentary content throughout the real NFL season. This means that if a player or team has a monster week, you will hear about it shortly after in the game.”

“Brandon and Charles will be in studio with us throughout the course of the season, recording the latest content to help bridge the gap between what you see on Sunday, and what you hear when you boot up your game.”

  1. You must be kidding! Nance is the best announcer in sports.. You think we want a lesser announcer? This must be a budgetary move, or you’ve lost your minds.

  2. Boo ! Jim Nance is a hall of famer announcer. How could you replace him. Nevertheless, Joe Buck and Troy Akiman would of been a good choice.

  3. I don’t care if you replace announcers every year! If Madden 17 doesn’t have CPU vs CPU offline regular season mode I wouldn’t spend one dime for this game.

  4. Do you know if madden 17 will have cup vs in cup CMF mode, where can watch the playoffs.also home field advantage and weather effects
