As we forecast all the way back in February, Madden NFL 16 is set to be released on August 25th, 2015. That announcement shouldn’t have shocked anyone who follows EA Sports or the Madden games. The first Madden 16 news was supposed to come out in May but some retailers have released a little nugget of information early on their websites.

EA Sports focused pretty heavily on making defense more realistic in Madden 15. It looks like in Madden 16, they are setting their sights on improving the passing game.
We’ve seen the vision cone in previous Madden games. Some people loved it while others hated it. Other than that and a few minor tweaks along the way, there really haven’t been too many attempts to change the passing game.
