In this free Madden 16 tip, we are going over a really effective way to get pressure out of the 46 Normal formation while still maintaining good pass coverage behind it.

We are only sending 4 or 5 guys and we get untouched pressure coming through the B Gap.  Keep in mind that this concept can be done from any play in the 46 Normal formation.

Setup:

  1. Base align
  2. Crash the defensive line down
  3. Blitz ROLB (on the left side of the screen)

Right away you will notice that our defensive end comes in untouched between the LT and the LG.
