Occasionally, there will be a situation where you, as a commissioner, will want to clear a certain teams’ cap penalty. This can happen because you had a terrible owner who left a team with terrible penalties before he quit, or just you helping out an owner who made an honest mistake.
It’s pretty simple to clear cap penalties. We’ll walk you through it below.
Step 1: Go to the main screen of the Franchise
Step 2: Press RB/R1 to scroll over to “Members”
Step 3: Select the team you wish to clear by pressing A/X on them
Step 4: Click “Clear Cap Penalties”
That’s it, you are all set.
