How To Trade A Player In Madden 22 Franchise Mode

Trading away a player, or trading for a player is really easy in Madden 22.

In order to trade a player in a franchise mode start off in the main menu of your franchise.

Step 1: Use RB/R1 to scroll over to “Team”

Step 2: Click on the “Trade Center”

Step 3: This will bring you to 3 options “Trade block”, “Upgrade Position”, or “Manual Trade”. Clicking trade block will show you players that other teams are looking to trade. Upgrade position will sort the players by the positions your team needs. Manual trade you are free to scroll and look through any player on any team. Select which of the 3 you would like to do.

Step 4: Find a player you are interested in and select them by pressing A/X, this will add them to the trade.

Step 5: Press the start button to “advance”

Step 6: You will have two options of whether you wish to offer a player or one of your draft picks select which you would like to do.

Step 7: Then press A/X on the player or draft pick you wish to offer in the trade, and then press “advance” once again

Step 8: Press the start button to “Submit” the trade. It will then tell you the team’s response

Of course, the other team could reject your trade, so if that happens you will have to try to sweeten the offer to get the team to accept.

Why won’t the cpmoter allow you to trade a player? Player is going to be a free agent but team won’t allow the trade.
