Gun Bunch Wk

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: PA Slot Post

Setup:

  1. Put the RB/R1 receiver on a drag route
  2. Block your running back
  3. Put the B/circle receiver on a drag and motion him to the other side.  Snap before he gets set (see video for positioning)

Reads:

  1. Your first read is the RB/R1 receiver on the drag route
  2. Then look to the B/circle receiver on the other side
  3. Look to the X/square receiver on the C route
  4. Then look deep to the A/X receiver over the middle

Overview: The purpose of this play is to get 6-10 yards on drags.  If the drags are covered look to the corner route, then look to the post.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: WR Post (Cover 2 and Cover 4 Beater)

Setup:

  1. Put the A/X receiver on a curl

Reads:

  1. The first read is always the X/square receiver deep over the top
  2. If that isn’t there, scramble with your QB or just throw the ball away

Overview: We call this play when we expect our opponent to be in a cover 2 or cover 4 defense.  If they are, we should be able to get a 1 play touchdown deep.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: WR Post (Cover 3 Beater)

Setup:

  1. Put your A/X receiver on a fade route
  2. Put your B/circle receiver on an out route

Reads:

  1. Your primary read on this play is the A/X receiver deep on the fade route
  2. If he isn’t open, just scramble with your QB or throw it away.

Overview: This is a 1 play touchdown against cover 3 defenses.  Only call it when you expect your opponent to be in a cover 3 defense.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Deep Attack

Setup:

  1. Max Protect
  2. Streak your RB/R1 receiver
  3. Put your A/X receiver on a drag route
  4. Put your B/circle receiver on a drag and motion him over

Reads:

  1. Look first to your receivers on the drag routes
  2. If they aren’t open, look to the X/square receiver on the post

Overview: Take the drags if they are open and then low ball to x if they are distracted by the drags.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: HB Mid Draw

Setup:

  1. Motion the tight end inside and snap (see the video for timing)

Overview: This is a good play to mix into your scheme so your opponent doesn’t start committing to the pass.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Mesh Post (Version 1)

Setup:

  1. Max protect
  2. Put your RB/R1 receiver on a streak route

Reads:

  1. Your first read is the A/X receiver on the drag route
  2. The next look is to the B/circle receiver on the post
  3. Look to the X/square receiver on the drag

Overview:This is a great play.  There are so many routes coming to the middle of the field at the same time, it’s difficult to cover. Read the user and throw to the B/circle receiver for a big gain if the user does not cover it, if the user takes the post throw the drag to X/square or playmaker him up the field.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Mesh Post (Version 2)

Setup:

  1. Max Protect
  2. Put the RB/R1 receiver on a streak
  3. Put the A/X receiver on an out route and smart route him.  Then motion him to the other side

Reads:

  1. Your first read is the B/circle receiver on the post route
  2. Then look to the X/square receiver
  3. Your last read is the A/X receiver

Overview:  The difference on this play is that the A/X route can pick up a lot of yards if they chase the post, great for third and longs since its smart routed to the first down marker.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Dig HB Out (Version 1)

Setup:

  1. Max Protect
  2. Put the A/X receiver on a hitch route
  3. Put your B/circle receiver on a drag route

Reads:

  1. Your first look is the drag to B/circle
  2. Then look to the A/X receiver on the hitch
  3. Your last look is to the X/square receiver on the post if you have time

Overview: You want to throw the post if you can or have time, but the drag and hitch both get open as well.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Dig HB Out (version 2)

Setup:

  1. Max Protect
  2. Put the B/circle receiver on a hitch route
  3. Put the A/X receiver on a streak route

Reads:

  1. Playmaker the B/circle receiver away from your opponent’s user
  2. Then look to the X/square receiver on the post

Overview: You want to make them chase your playmaker so hopefully that opens up the post.  If they don’t chase the playmaker just throw to the receiver you playmakered.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Corner Strike (Version #1)

Setup:

  1. Put your A/X receiver on a streak route
  2. Put your B/circle receiver on a drag route
  3. Block your running back

Reads:

  1. Your first read is the flat route to your RB/R1 receiver
  2. Then look to your B/circle receiver on the corner route
  3. Your last look is the X/square receiver on the drag route

Overview: This is a quick checkdown play to pick up a good 5 yards.  If they run hard flats throw the corner for a big gain.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Corner Strike (Cover 3 Beater)

Setup:

  1. Put your A/X receiver on a fade route
  2. Put your B/circle receiver on a drag route
  3. Block your running back

Reads:

  1. Look to the A/X receiver on the fade route first against cover 3
  2. If he isn’t open, check down the the RB/R1 reciever
  3. You also have the drag to throw to as a checkdown

Overview: This is a one play touchdown against cover 3 defenses.

Formation: Gun Bunch Wk

Play: Mesh

Setup:

  1. Max Protect
  2. Streak your tight end
  3. Motion the B/circle receiver to the other side of the formation

Reads:

  1. Look to the A/X receiver on the drag route
  2. Then look to your X/square receiver
  3. Your last read is the B/circle receiver on the post route

Overview: This play works well because it looks like pa post or deep attack but now the post is coming from the motioned over WR, which is something your opponent most likely won’t expect.

I would like to see more plays ran against Random defense. Although I have been enjoying the plays it’s easy to chose a Defense to beat. Other than that keep up the good work.

I agree with some of the other comments, this stuff is weak!!! Come on fellas, I can lab on my own & come up with better stuff than this! You’re throwing picks, run plays are hit & miss, & going over plays that you’ve already shared in other ebooks. Man I can find free info better than this, I feel like I’m being scammed!! How about a Green Bay Off ebook? Y’all gotta do a lot better than this….

This stuff isn’t weak. This is basically a same concept that top level players are running. Have you guys not watched madden classic? Kiv, GO’s, Skimbo?? They all run this.
