Easy Madden NFL 15 Nickel 2-4-5 Nano Blitz

Bringing pressure in Madden 15 is harder than ever but we still have plenty of ways to do it.  In today’s free Madden 15 defensive tip, we are going over a way to bring pressure from the right side of the screen with only 5 guys rushing.  That allows us to maintain good coverage in the secondary.

Please keep in mind, this play isn’t a 100% effective nano blitz that works against every offense.  It gets pressure most of the time, but the offensive line AI is much improved in Madden 15 so don’t expect this defense to work every time.

Playbook: Baltimore Ravens (And many others)

Formation: Nickel 2-4-5 Even

Play: Sugar 3 Seam

Setup:

1. Blitz all your linebackers (RB/R1 + RS Down)
2. Put your ROLB (on the left side of the screen) in a purple or light blue zone
3. Reblitz your DT and DE in the middle
4. Adjust the zones however you want behind it

Madden School Pro Tip: You may want to sub in a fast backup linebacker at LE because a lot of the time, he will be the one that gets in free.  You will want him to get to the quarterback quickly.
