Every August a new Madden NFL video game comes out. Many of the new features and changes are based on feedback from the community. Madden 19 is already being developed so now is a great time to get your comments and suggestions in.

I’ve been a long time Madden fan dating back all the way back to Madden 94. I feel Madden has made major changes to enhance gameplay for fans but I would challenge EA to give us way more.
I hope EA will consider changes and improvements as I talk about my issues with Madden. First off, EA is the only company who can provide us with a football game. Every year we must settle for mediocre work in terms of created player and real players of the NFL.
Consumers should get realistic faces for all players. created players faces have not been updated in a few years EA give us more! I’m tired of playing connected franchise and have 5 players on my roster with the same face.
Madden 18 is defiantly the year for MUT. I understand Mut is a great mode and many Madden players have shifted towards Mut. I think EA does a good job of trying to give us a few different modes and things to keep us busy.
Longshot was great this year I hope EA continues to build on this but we want more and should get more. Moving forward I’d love to see EA get more creative with this mode! Why not do something similar to what NBA2k does and give us a career mode?
Why not set something up where guys who play in that mode can build that player up and go compete for online doing 3 on 3? The possibilities are endless to upgrade that mode to the next step.
I haven’t wrapped my mind all the way around playing MUT on a consistent base but I see a few things EA could do. I understand all former players EA must sign the rights to use those players. When starting off in Madden you get a bunch of scrub players to work with in Mut right? If guys like that great I don’t mind seeing it in Madden 19 but let’s take this a step further.
If EA is able to get the rights of these former players why not put in an Old Jake Plummer card? How about putting guys in like Tatum Bell, Mike Anderson, Rod Smith? At one point all of these players were in Madden and it was fun to play with those guys.
I have friends who are Bears fans, Rams, Titans etc? Guy’s can’t tell me it wouldn’t be fun to play with a high rank or decent level player in MUT from the past Maddens! Make it where we can collect old school players from the past.
I understand none of those guys are Hall of Famers. In my opinion, adding something like that to MUT would intrigue gamers.
The next mode I can write a whole book on is connected Franchise. Connected Franchise has lacked for the past 3 Madden’s. Same story lines, no new faces, same cities to relocate your team. All the storylines are the same when you get players drafted out of college.
The connected franchise has also lacked to update the mode to give consumers more to look forward to. What happen to the combine in Madden? Being able to run 40 times, lifting weights was pretty cool to do. Also, when getting created coaches nothing has changed same faces and no new creative names for coaches.
The created cites and uniforms were good for a little bit but nothing has changed in the past 3 maddens come on man! Give us more of a variety to create our own uniforms or put more options into the game to pick from! Give us different stadium options when relocating.
Every year Madden takes something out that was in the game three years ago and then reintroduce like it’s new EA we are on to you!
When playing a rank game can EA find a more effective way to crack down on guys who lag glitch or find ways to cheat? Also, can EA find a way to improve when you going in a rank game and you both have the same team? I don’t know how many times I have run into Broncos vs. Broncos. There should be some type of option to back out of the game when it happens.
I really enjoy the ability in MUT how you can play with friends and one on one to win an SB. Why not offer something like that also in rank matches or coming up with something new and creative?
EA you have bought the exclusive rights to the license of the NFL players and coaches. I feel you guys are lazy in your work and could give us more. NFL2K has been on the shelf for a long time nobody else is coming out with another football game. PS4 and XBox1 our high powered consoles give us more please you have no competition what so ever!
A diving catch would be nice. Maybe like design the stadium and get realistic fan responses. BUT ADD TO TALK PLAYERS OUT OF RETIREMENT!!! I’m tired of Tom Brady retiring after one year. C’mon EA be realistic!!!
You should be able to make your own team, like a 33rd team, as an owner, and build it by scratch.
madden needs to fix the crowd noise and the weather changes and broadcast teams, just like the real NFL, Crowd noise for instance in the real NFL the crowd gets involved when your team gets a first down or a sack or ext. even when the away team scores the fans of that team cheer loud and proud. i think ea madden developers need to do what ncaa 13 did is go to the stadiums and record the fan noise of teams in the nfl. replays need to be addressed too better explaining what went on in the play. the booth team needs to go as well im sorry but Brandon godden and Charles davis are boring to me, they need a good solid broadcast team like NFL on fox’s Joe buck and troy aikman, or Kevin burkhard and Charles Davis, or NFL on CBS Kevin Harlan and rich gannon. weather needs to be addressed as well i like the way the daylight changes throuout the game but it would be awesome if it looked like the NFL games on TV for instance you start out as overcast then gets sunny, back to overcast, or rain then sunshine, or cold weather where you can see the players breath, and sunshine or overcast then snow or rain. weather needs to change constantly.
I would like to see a type of custom plays, like when you do hot routes, execpt it is an actual play and you don’t have to do hot routes. I know it could get complicated and complex, but if there is a play you like, then in Madden 19, it isn’t there, you could remake the play for your playbook. I think if it happens, put it in creation center, where you create new players. I liked in Madden 18 that custom player faces actually show up and not a blacked out figure, but in games it would be cool for even more dialogue, and announcers would try to say those players names.
First of all they definitely need to fix fans and fan reaction. MLB The Show has done this well.
Second and probably most important to me is to continue the long shot I loved it but the ending was weak. I’ve played this game all the way back to the computer mode before it came to gaming systems. That being said they seem to be getting better all the time. With a few little tweeks it could remain the best sports game ever made.

we just need a career mode
Please let us play as a kicker in career mode. We have wanted this option for so long now! It might seem boring to some, but I would love to try and bomb some game winners as a character.
I think it would be really cool for older players to have an effect on the team. Certain older guys who have experienced a lot and are now deteriorating might have some worth if signed as a mentor, playing their last couple seasons to influence younger athletes in their position.
Also, give us a record log of champions so I can look back on my 15 year long franchise and remember the time I got whipped in the nfc championship, only to come back and win the following year. More comprehensive stats would be cool (including what team each player played for, like in The Show).
