Setup:

1. Hot route the slot WR to an out route
2. Hot route the outside WR to a fade route

Reads:

1. Outside WR on the fade route as seen in the video

Overview: In part 1, I go over how to attack DB Fire 2 from Dollar quickly down the deep sidelines. This concept is very specific and attacks the CB and the Safety, allowing you to “flood” the zone and get quick completions down the field.

Play: PA Shot Wheel

Setup:

1. Hot route the B/circle WR to a streak route
2. (Optional) Hot route TE to a slant/in/drag

Reads:

1. Your first read is the tight end on the short crossing route
2. Then look to the Y/triangle receiver on the deep crossing route
3. Your last read is the X/square receiver on the deep post

Overview: This play uses crossing routes to attack the cover 2 zone deep down the field and is especially good at attacking a user and forcing the user to play a “levels” concept and attack him with a quick crosser one direction, a quick crosser in the opposite direction, and then a deep post route.

Play: PA Deep Outs

Setup:

1. Hot route the tight end to a slant route
2. Motion the tight end
3. (Optional) Place the B/circle WR on a slant route

Reads:

1. Your first read is the tight end on the short crossing route (if the user bails out)
2. The look to the Y/triangle receiver on the deep post

Overview: This play utilizes a quick play action combined with a low crossing route and high crossing route to attack a user over the middle and create big play opportunities. Use this in conjunction with inside zone or other quick over the middle passes to get big plays.
