Playbook: Baltimore Ravens

Formation: Gun Bunch

Play: Verticals

Setup:

1. Max Protect
2. Put your X/square receiver on a slant route
3. (Optional) Put your RB/R1 receiver on a slant route

Reads:

1. Against any man to man blitz, your B/circle receiver should get wide open deep
2. If he is covered, look to the receivers on the slant routes

Overview: You’ll want a fast receiver running the wheel route. You can also call a similar play out of Pistol Bunch called Seattle with the same result.

Formation: Gun Deuce Close

Play: Corner N Go’s

Setup:

1. Max Protect
2. (Optional Put the A/X tight end or your running back on a hot route of your choice
3. Smart route the X/square receiver and motion him to the left sideline

Reads:

1. Your primary read on this play is the X/square receiver deep on the double move

Overview: We shorten the double move by using the smart route feature so that the play doesn’t take as long to develop. It helps if you have a fast receiver on the double move.

Play: PoCo X Dig

Setup:

1. Max Protect
2. Smart route your B/circle receiver
3. (Optional) Motion the X/square receiver out to the left sideline

Reads:

1. Your main read on this play is the B/circle receiver on his double move

Overview: This play might fool your opponent because he could think you will be trying to hit the X/square receiver but really we are attacking the right side of the field with our B/circle receiver

Play: Stick

Setup:

1. Block your tight end
2. Hot route your B/circle receiver to a slant route

Reads:

1. The running back’s route gets wide open against man to man coverage
2. If your opponent user defends it, look to the B/circle receiver on the slant to the other side

Overview: This is another route combination that destroys man to man coverage.

Formation: Gun Bunch Open Offset

Play: Flood

Setup:

1. Hot route your X/square receiver to a whip route
2. Hot route your A/X receiver to a whip route
3. Hot route your tight end to a streak route
4. Hot route your B/circle receiver to a slant route

Reads:

1. Your first look is to either receiver on the whip routes
2. If they are covered, look to the B/circle receiver over the middle on the slant

Overview: This play attacks all 3 areas of the field (left, middle, and right) with routes that destroy man to man coverage. Just keep taking your 5-10 yards until your opponent gets out of his man to man defense.
