Playbook: Tennessee Titans

Formation: Gun DBLS Y-Flex Offset

Play: Inside Zone

Setup:

Overview: This play is very useful to keep your opponent off balance. You do not want to only pass out of a formation because then your opponent can then key in on certain things.

  1. The read on this play is the flat route and corner route combination on both sides of the field
  2. The check down is to the running back on the blue route

Overview: This play has one of the hardest route combinations for someone to guard in Madden 17. The corner routes mixed with the flat routes work very well, and using this play along with the other plays in this formation will create havoc for the opponent.

  2. The second read is the high low read with the Y/Triangle receiver and the running back on the right side of the screen

Overview: This setup is great because it attacks the middle of the field and has the high low read on the right side making it difficult to cover. The crossing patterns also clear up a lot of space to easily move the ball down the field.

Formation: Gun Tight Flex

Play: Inside Hi Lo

Setup:

Overview: The route combinations in this play completely flood zone coverage. The routes attack pretty much all areas of the field making it difficult to defend. Especially while focusing on the runs and the other plays in this formation.

Playbook: Tennessee Titans

Play: PA Fork

Hey guys for some reason I cant add the single back pair tight twins which is called single back twin te chief in custom playbook to my playbook. I havent had an issue like this with all the other plays and formation. I added it on my custom playbook and even saved audibles but when I try to lab it, the formation doesnt show up as an option to choose in my playbook. I’ve even double checked to make sure I saved it. Would you guys know the cause to this? Its only this particular formation. I’ve been able to add and use all the other ones.
