Hey I’ve looked at the nickel normal, 46 normal and both 4-3 formations and I see a lot of blitzes however what are the best coverage plays other than the the cover 2 buster?
The 46 Normal cover 2 invert is a good coverage/run stopper and some of the plays out of dollar 3-2-6 are great for coverage with some pressure as well.

Getting torched on strong runs even when I know they are coming help please (pistol , I form). Any tips?
What type of runs are you have trouble with? Runs up the middle or runs to the outside?
outside runs for me. Stretch or power runs. I typically play DE and with the lack of block shedding this year, I get vacuumed into the tackle and can’t leave. It’s really common for an RB to post 100 yards in the first half against me.
I’m starting to think that I need to play safety even though I enjoy the line more.
I haven’t looked at this ebook yet. But, at least in Madden 16. I used Cover 3 in the 46 Normal, and shifted the DL the direction to the strong side. then user controlled that linebacker. But, if you don’t know the direction you can spread the linebackers. And, control the FS (If he is fast like Earl Thomas) and sprint to the line when the ball is snapped.
Ya that is a great call. We are doing something very similar inside of the 46 normal formation with the cover 2 invert play!
instead of “strong side” I just mean, “shift your defensive line to whichever side has more blockers”
sometime the DE will catch the RB. If not the CB or OLB (the one you user) will get him for a short gain. Or, one of the safeties if you have no choice but to start sprinting them to line. (Obviously you have to be careful with that or you will get burned on play action.)
I normally play a 3-4 Defense, are u developing a 3-4 based ebook? Or should i better switch to this? Btw nice work overall!
We plan to get a 3-4 based ebook out as our next ebook but it will likely be a couple weeks.

Is anyone else having success with these plays? I’m just curious because none of the blitz’s cone through for me or if they do it takes so long that his receivers have beat the coverage same thing with the man blitz’s how can I get them to come in quicker I use the saints as they’re my online cfm team and I understand their defense is bad but I’m just getting absolutely shredded
You should mostly be using the coverage plays. Some of the plays in the update do a good job of bringing pressure while still have 8 guys in coverage

Yes, to customize your audibles you need to make a custom playbook. Inside the custom playbook screen, you can set your audibles.

It shouldn’t change all that much. It was mostly just a smaller patch to fix early glitches in the game.
