With about a week left until Madden 13 is released, EA Sports unveiled the top 10 defensive players today via their YouTube channel. There weren’t any real surprises on this list but there are plenty of other players that didn’t make the list that you could easily make a case for. Thankfully with weekly roster updates in Madden 13, players’ ratings can improve and decline based on their performance on the field each week.

WILFORK! Try running up the middle with this beast! In career mode I adjust the Pats to run a 4-3 defense (usually the Minnesota playbook defensively) and pick up some other GIANT like Henderson or Pat Sims to play alongside him either before the season (Henderson) or right after it starts (Sims). Given, those two def aren’t the best guys in real life, but stack up either of them with Wilfork and ya have 700lbs of beast in the middle with Brandon Spikes watching their back=interior run game demolished!
