The Madden 18 season is in full swing, and that means the pros at Madden School are working hard to make you the best Madden 18 player possible. If you want to be a great Madden player, then you must have a thorough knowledge of rosters and depth charts. To help, we’ve put together our list of teams deepest at corner back in Madden 18.
Every team’s roster has certain strengths and weaknesses, and team’s are deeper at certain positions than others. Understanding this is one of the keys to success in Madden 18. Today, we’re breaking down one of the most important positions on the field: Corner or Defensive Back.
Ideally, a team deep at CB has three players with a decent overall rating.
The Falcons aren’t necessarily known for having good corners, but their corners are all rated very well in Madden 18. If you took our advice and moved Jalen Collins up on the depth chart, top four CB’s on the depth chart are all rated 77 overall and higher. The Falcons CB’s are also very young, making them ideal when building your team in CFM.
- Desmond Trufant 89 overall
- Brian Poole 80 overall
- Jalen Collins 79 overall
- Robert Alford 77 overall
New York Giants
The Giants may not be having their best season, and injuries are impacting this team’s Madden 18 rating and online popularity. However, one strength of the Giants is their group of CB’s. Without a doubt, the Giants are one of the deepest teams at the CB position.
- Janoris “Jack Rabbit” Jenkins 89 overall
- Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie 85 overall
- Eli Apple 75 overall
- Ross Cockrell 76 overall
The Jags defense has been ruthless this season. Their secondary is incredibly deep due mostly to their off season addition of AJ Bouye, a top rated corner from the Houston Texans. The Jaguars secondary is very young also, and that makes them an attractive squad when starting your CFM.
- Jalen Ramsey 90 overall
- AJ Bouye 87 overall
- Aaron Colvin 75 overall
The Denver defense is the best in the game with a 90 overall rating, and they have two shut down corners that make throwing on them nearly impossible in Madden 18. The Broncos two starting CB’s are the highest rated pair of corners in the game. The Denver Broncos are probably the deepest team thanks to Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.
- Aqib Talib 94 overall
- Chris Harris Jr 93 overall
- Bradley Roby 78 overall
There are certainly other teams who are worthy of making our list of teams deepest at corner in Madden 18. We have to give an honorable mention to the lowly Browns CB’s. Their corners are the best corps of players they have on that team. With Jason McCourty at an 89, and Briean Boddy-Calhoun an 80 followed by Jamar Taylor at 76, the Browns CB corps is fairly strong.
Who are some of the teams you think are incredibly deep at corner, or another position for that matter? Feel free to share your thoughts with the Madden School community in the comments section below.
