The Chicago Bears come into Madden 17 with a good offense but a defense that has a lot of holes. They aren’t one of the worst teams, but they aren’t extremely good either.
We’ve got the full Madden 17 Chicago Bears team breakdown below.
Team: Chicago Bears
Offensive Strategy: Balanced. The Bears have good players everywhere on offense but outside of Alshon Jeffery, they don’t have any game changing players. Mix the ball around to your receivers and running backs and you will have a tough offense to stop.
Defensive Strategy: Aggressive Blitzing. The Bears don’t have a very strong defense so you’ll need to create turnovers and sacks if you want a chance to win. Pernell McPhee, Lamarr Houston, and Cornelius Washington should be able to get a few sacks per game.
Impact Players: QB Jay Cutler, HB Jeremy Langford, WR Alshon Jeffery, WR Kevin White, WR Eddie Royal, TE Zack Miller, RG Kyle Long, DT Eddie Goldman, LOLB Pernell McPhee, MLB Jerrell Freeman, MLB Danny Trevathan, ROLB Lamarr Houston, CB Kyle Fuller, FS Adrian Amos
Strengths: Linebackers. The Bears have a lot of good linebackers which should allow you some flexibility on defense but they will have to cover for the weaker parts of the Bears defense.
Weaknesses: The rest of the defense. The secondary and defensive line are both extremely weak compared to other Madden 17 teams.
Overview: The Bears are a below average team in Madden NFL 17 but they are still playable if you are a fan.

The Bears have a top 10 front 7. They finished the season 4th in passing with a terrible front 7 in 2015. Not to mention they were transitioning from a 4-3 to a 3-4. The Bears will be good this year as long as they can stay healthy on offense.
I agree with rooster on the offense, kill the clock to keep better teams off the field, a very high percentage of people are jumping on the bandwagon with the elite, Bears can create upsets if you’re die hard like me!
