The Packers are always good in Madden NFL games and Madden 16 is no different. The Packers have one of the best offenses in the game and their defense seems to be built for Madden greatness.
We have the full Madden 16 Green Bay Packers team breakdown below.
Team: Green Bay Packers
Offensive Strategy: Do what the Packers always do. Let Aaron Rodgers pick apart defenses. Every now and then pound the ball with Eddie Lacy and when you are in that crucial 4th and 1 situation just hand the ball to John Kuhn. Offense with the Packers in Madden 16 is always pretty easy.
Defensive Strategy: Sacks and interceptions. Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews are form one of the most feared pass rushing combos in the game. They should get a few sacks just by themselves each game. Sam Shields is an interception machine in Madden games and your safeties are pretty strong as well.
Impact Players: QB Aaron Rodgers, HB Eddie Lacy, FB John Kuhn, WR Jordy Nelson, WR Randall Cobb, LG Josh Sitton, RT Bryan Bulaga, RE Mike Daniels, DT B.J. Raji, LOLB Julius Peppers, ROLB Clay Matthews, CB Sam Shields, CB Casey Hayward, FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, SS Morgan Burnett
Key Newcomers: CB/FS Damarious Randall, CB Quinten Rollins, WR Ty Montgomery, QB Brett Hundley
Strengths: Offense. It is nearly impossible to stop someone who knows how to correctly use the Packers offense in Madden.
Weaknesses: Middle Linebacker. Middle linebacker is one of the most important positions in Madden. The lack of a dominant middle linebacker will hurt the Packers in Madden 16 but they do have some young players there that could see their ratings increase through roster updates during the season.
Overview: The Packers come into Madden 16 similar to how they have come into every Madden game for the last 5 years. They aren’t one of those teams that everyone uses online but they probably should be with how talented they are.
