In today’s Madden 21 Film Room tip, we are going over a technique you can use to get touchdowns every time when your opponent punts the ball to you on next generation consoles.
Please keep in mind, we aren’t encouraging playing this way but it is something you can do for fun on your own and it is something you should watch out for when playing online.
Let’s dive in.
Step 1: Just come out in any punt return formation.
Step 2: Call for a fair catch early on then move a few yards behind the circle where the ball is going to land
Step 3: After the ball bounces at least 1 time, pick it up and you won’t be able to be tackled unless you trip or go out of bounds (or something flukey happens).
Something like this will for sure be patched within the next month or 2. Until that happens, if you do punt the ball, make sure you punt it out of bounds.
