- Press Coverage
- Pinch the defensive line
- Slant inside the defensive line
- Put the left side of the screen defensive end in any zone or spy
- QB contain
- Bring our user down in the box and blitz him as shown in the video
Overview: This blitz out of Cover 2 man is going to be a 3 man blitz that brings insane heat to the QB. So far it seems that man coverage is the most effective defense to use in Madden. This play also allows us to adjust the coverage and mix some zones in with the man coverage since we are only blitzing 3 people.Â

- Blitz or spy the middle linebacker as shown in the video
Overview: Here we go over how to get this pressure out of a Cover 4 style defense instead of man coverage. Also, using this setup we do not have to bring our user down into the box so we can stay deep and not blitz ourselves. It is always important to mix up your coverage against your opponents.

Overview: On this play we get a Cover 2 style defense while getting quick pressure either blitzing 3 people with a spy or blitzing 4 people. As shown in the video if you are facing a scrambling QB especially one with escape artist the use of the spy is pretty much a must. This will prevent the opponent from scrambling away from the pressure.

Overview: Using this play will help mix up your coverage against your opponent. As soon as they think they have something figured out you can hit them with a Cover 3 blitz that will play mind games with the opponent. Defense is all about making your opponent think and making your coverage different while it all looks the same pre snap.
