Madden 20 Unsackable Quarterback Glitch

UPDATE: As of July 31st, this has been patched and no longer works.

In this tip, we are going over a technique to make your quarterback completely unsackable in Madden 20. It works even if your opponent tries to user tackle you.

There are a few uses for this that come to mind.

• Milking the entire 3rd/4th quarter when you have the lead
• Getting great rushing stats with your quarterback
• Frustrating your opponent

Please keep in mind, we are not the video game ethics police. If you prefer not to use glitches like this, then don’t use them. When this slowly becomes more mainstream (and eventually it will be patched), some franchises, tournaments, etc will likely ban this play because it is way too effective.

It is our responsibility to put our members in the best position to win but it is up to you whether you choose to use this play.

Let’s dive into how to do it.

Play: Any PA Jet Sweep

Pre-Snap Setup: None

Post-Snap Steps:

All you have to do is press L2 twice on PS4 or LT twice on XBOX One and then keep your quarterback moving around. Once you stop, you can get sacked.

Pressing L2/LT once brings the passing icons down and turns your QB into a runner. Pressing the L2/LT button the 2nd time brings the passing icons back up and makes your quarterback unsackable.

Things to keep in mind: You can throw the ball at any time but keep in mind that eventually the passing icons disappear so you will be throwing it blindly.

If your quarterback gets stuck between his own guys or gets hit in just the right way (usually a specific hit on his non-throwing arm), he can be sacked.

Once you cross the line of scrimmage, your quarterback can be tackled again so be sure you want to run for it once you go past it. Go out of bounds or slide to finish the play. Your QB will be completely exhausted so he will have a higher chance of fumbling if you don’t slide.
