Madden 19 Week 9 TOTW Announced

As week 9 has now come and gone we are beginning to get some clarity on the dominant teams in the league. Teams like the Saints, Patriots, Panthers, Chiefs, and even the Bears turned in quality performances.

These teams are starting to separate themselves from the pack, at the same time if some of the 4-4 or close to .500 teams can have a strong push late in the season there is still room to sneak into the playoffs. This weeks TOTW set highlights the key performers of week 9. 

93 Category 

This weeks Boss is Adrian Amos, the strong safety for the Chicago Bears. In week 9 he had 7 total tackles, a sack, and an interception to help the Bears destroy the Bills 41-9. Even though Halloween has passed this 93 overall card is scary good.

The 6’0 defensive back has 93 zone coverage, 92 hit power, 93 play recognition, and 92 speed. One of the best SS cards out on the market. To get this player you will need to turn in this weeks offensive and defensive bosses, or purchase the card for around 600,000 coins. (66 cap)

91 Category

Offensive Boss: James Conner running back of the Pittsburgh Steelers is no longer Le’Veon Bell’s backup, he has established himself as one of the top running backs in the league. Conner had 163 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown to help take down the Ravens 23-16. This HB has 91 acceleration, 91 carrying, 91 trucking, and 88 speed. (46 cap) 

Defensive Boss: Danielle Hunter left end for the Minnesota Vikings went off this weekend with 3.5 sacks, 9 tackles, and a fumble recovery for 6 points. The Vikings handled the Lions easily and won 24-9. This card has 90 block shedding, 92 finesse moves, and 88 acceleration. (53 cap)

86 Category 

George Kittle, tight end for the San Fransisco 49ers had 108 receiving yards that included a 71 yard reception that almost went for six points. He eventually cashed in this same drive and helped the 49ers beat the Raiders 34-3. This card has 89 speed, 88 spectacular catch, and 88 catching, a true receiving TE. (45 cap) 

Leonard Floyd, ROLB for the Chicago Bears had his first career pick six to help beat the Bills 41-9. The 6’6 linebacker has 87 acceleration, 85 speed, and 92 finesse moves. (49 cap) 

85 Category 

Calvin Ridley, wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons had 6 receptions, 71 receiving yards and a touchdown to help Matt Ryan and the Falcons take down the Redskins 38-14. The 6’1 receiver has 91 speed, 81 catching, and 75 jumping. (36 cap)

Mario Addison, right end for the Carolina Panthers was all over the field, recording 5 total tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble to help beat the Buccaneers 42-28. The defensive lineman has 89 finesse moves, 86 play recognition, and 78 tackle. (33 cap) 

82 category 

Duke Johnson Jr. was an absolute weapon out of the backfield for the Browns passing game.  The HB had 9 receptions and two touchdowns on the day, but the Browns still fell to the Chiefs 37-21. Duke has 88 speed, 92 agility, and 88 acceleration. (31 cap) 

Roquan Smith, MLB for the Chicago Bears had a whopping 13 tackles and a forced fumble that led to 6 points. The Bears trampled the Bills 41-9. This card features 88 acceleration, 86 speed, and 82 tackle. (31 cap) 

81 Category

Curtis Samuel, wide receiver of the Carolina Panthers scored on not only a passing play, but a rushing play as well. The speedy 5’11 receiver helped the Panthers defeat the Bucs on Sunday. This card has 92 speed, 85 jumping, and 75 catching. (31 cap) 

Steven Nelson, cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs had 8 tackles and an interception late in the 4th quarter. This effort helped the Chiefs defeat the Browns 37-21. The defensive back has 88 speed, 88 acceleration, and 89 agility. (27 cap)

79 Category 

Maurice Harris, wide receiver for the Washington Redskins had a career game with 10 receptions and 124 yards despite the 38-14 loss to the Falcons. The 6’3 receiver has 85 speed, 84 jumping, and 78 catching. (24 cap)

Tom Johnson, defensive tackle of the Minnesota Vikings sacked Matthew Stafford 2.5 times. The Vikings defense had 10 total sacks as they were in the backfield all day. The DT has 83 power moves, 79 block shedding, and 77 strength. (19 cap)

78 Category 

Nick Mullens came out of nowhere this week and delivered a close to perfect performance. The 49ers quarterback had 262 yards and 3 touchdowns to destroy the Raiders 34-3. The 6’1 QB has 86 throw power, 75 play action, and 74 speed. (25 cap) 

Cassius Marsh left end for the 49ers had an impact performance against the Raiders. The defensive lineman had 4 tackles and 2.5 sacks. This card has 82 acceleration, 80 finesse moves, and 79 speed. (27 cap)
