Madden 19 Week 8 TOTW Players

As we approach week 9, the NFL season has now passed the halfway point and teams are starting to uncover their true identities. It’s also time for the week 8 TOTW set to be unleashed into the MUT community. This week the Boss card plays on the defensive side of the ball. Darius Leonard ROLB of the Indianapolis Colts made a huge play stripping former Tampa Bay running back and current Oakland Raider Doug Martin and that turnover lead to a score to help them beat the Raiders 42-28.

The 6’2 linebacker has 85 speed, 88 acceleration, and 93 tackle. The 93 overall card should be a staple for any defense lucky enough to have him (57 cap). To earn this card as always you need to obtain both the offensive and defensive boss this week, or you can pick up this card on the market for around 500,000 coins. 

91 Category 

The offensive boss this week is future Hall of Fame back Adrian Peterson. The redskins RB showed his skills off with 149 rushing yards and helped the Redskins defeat the Giants 20-13. This 91 overall card has 89 speed, 92 trucking, and 90 break tackle. (46 cap) 

The defensive boss this week is defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins. He had 3 tackles and 2 sacks to help the saints win their 6th game in a row 30-20 over the Vikings. The 6’2 defensive lineman is 91overall, has 92 power moves, 91 tackle, and 87 strength. (42 cap) 

86 Category

Sammy Watkins of the Kansas City Chiefs led all players with 8 catches and had 107 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns. The Chiefs defeated the Broncos 30-23. This card has 89 speed, 85 jumping, and 81 catching. (34 cap) 

Jordan Hicks the MLB of the Philadelphia Eagles had a huge game with 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks to help defeat the Jaguars 24-18. This card has 81 speed, 87 acceleration, and 84 tackle. (31 cap) 

85 Category 

One of the biggest surprises this year has been James Conner, running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Conner continued his brilliance in the backfield with 146 rushing yards and 66 receiving yards on top of touchdowns. The 6’1 HB has 89 acceleration, 86 speed, and 85 carrying. (31 cap) 

Eric Reid strong safety of the Carolina Panthers had 7 tackles and a sack as they beat down the Ravens 36-21. The 6’1 defensive back has 86 speed, 90 acceleration, and 90 hit power. (40 cap)

82 Category

Josh Rosen, quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals lead them to an 18-15 victory over the 49ers. With two touchdowns late in the 4th quarter Rosen showed composure and grit. The 6’4 quarterback has 87 throw power, 82 throw accuracy short, and 72 play action. (27 cap) 

Dee Ford the ROLB of the Kansas City Chiefs had a career game with 4 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. The Chiefs defeated the Broncos 30-23. The 6’2 linebacker has 83 acceleration, 82 speed, 85 finesse moves. (33 cap) 

81 Category

Phillip Lindsay had 112 total yards and a touchdown for the Denver Broncos. The 5’8 halfback has 89 speed, 87 acceleration, and 84 agility. (28 cap) 

P.J. Williams cornerback of the New Orleans Saints had a huge pick six to help defeat the Vikings 30-20. This card has 88 speed, 92 acceleration, and 88 jumping. (27 cap)

79 Category

Ed Dickson tight end for the Seattle Seahawks had a nice day with 54 receiving yards and a touchdown. The 6’4 TE has 81 speed, 77 catching, and 70 strength. (28 cap) 

Justin Reid of the Houston Texans recorded the only takeaway in the 42-23 victory over the Dolphins. The strong safety has 89 speed, 87 acceleration, and 80 pursuit. (27 cap) 

78 Category 

Josh Reynolds wide receiver of the Los Angeles Rams recorded his first two touchdown game and helped the Rams win 29-27 over the Packers. The wideout has 84 speed, 84 jumping, and 76 catching. (22 cap) 

Jordan Evans LOLB for the Cincinnati Bengals had 1.5 sacks, an interception, and 11 total tackles to help the Bengals take down the Buccaneers 37-34. The 6’2 linebacker has 84 speed, 86 acceleration, and 72 strength. (29 cap)
