Madden 19 TOTW Players For Week 5 Announced

For the second week in a row EA has provided an extra boss into the TOTW sets. This weeks boss is Patriots free safety Devin McCourty. This 92 overall boss card is definitely a difference maker. The 5’10 safety has 90 speed, 90 acceleration, and 93 play recognition.

The reasoning for McCourty getting the boss card probably had to do with his career high in tackles with 14 on the Colts, to help New England win 38-24. Again this card doesn’t come easy, as it will cost both 90 overall boss cards or right around 400 thousand coins on the market. The players and bosses needed to achieve McCourty are listed below. Offensive Boss: Adam Thielen

Adam Thielen has shocked the world week after week this year and at this point has emerged as one of the best wide receivers in the league. With 5 straight 100 yard games he has been a difference maker for the Vikings all season. This card has 87 speed, 90 catching, and 88 jumping. (40 cap)

Defensive Boss: T.J. Watt

With 8 total tackles, 3 sacks, and a forced fumble that resulted in a touchdown for the Steelers T.J. Watt is starting to make his way out of his brothers shadow and become a force in the Nation Football League. The ROLB has 82 speed, 87 acceleration, and 92 finesse moves. (51 cap)

85 Category

Joe Mixon of the Cincinnati Bengals has the potential to be one of the best running backs in the league. After coming off injury and missing a couple weeks the tail back had 115 yards and a touchdown that helped take down the Dolphins 27-17. This card has 90 acceleration, 88 agility, and 88 speed. (33 cap)

Chandler Jones the Arizona Cardinals RE forced a fumble on 49ers QB C.J. Beathard and ended up recovering it as well. The massive 6’5 end has 75 speed, 82 acceleration, and 89 power moves. (32 cap)

Robby Anderson of the New York Jets was able to catch two touchdown passes and helped the Jets destroy the Broncos 34-16. This card has 90 speed, 81 catching, and 82 jumping. The 6’3 receiver can defiantly go up and get it when he needs to. (31 cap)

Joe Schobert the Browns MLB had 9 total tackles and a forced fumble against the Ravens. He also was a big factor in keeping the Ravens to only 9 points. 84 acceleration, 83 block shedding, and 82 tackle. (30 cap)

81 Category

Mike Adams strong safety of the Carolina Panthers had not one but two interceptions to take down the Giants. This card has 84 acceleration, 84 play recognition, and 82 zone coverage. (24 cap)

Isaiah Crowell had the best game of his career so far as the Jets RB has 219 rushing yards that included a 77 yard score on the ground. This card has 90 acceleration, 86 speed, and 84 agility. (26 cap)

80 Category

Sony Michel has now had back to back big weeks for the Patriots he had 98 yards on 18 attempts with a touchdown. This card has 87 speed, 89 acceleration, and 90 agility. (26 cap)

Josh Bynes the middle linebacker of the Arizona Cardinals had 11 tackles, a sack, and a FR for six points against the 49ers. A huge game that made his card have 81 acceleration, 80 hit power, and 77 tackle. (22 cap)

78 Category

Ryan Griffin the Houston Texans has provided an extra target for Desean Watson and again had 6 receptions and 65 receiving yards. This card has 75 catch in traffic, 78 catching, and 72 strength. (24 cap)

L.J. Fort the MLB for the Pittsburgh Steelers played a quality game and sealed the deal against the Falcons with a fumble recovery in the end zone for a TD. The 6’0 linebacker has 84 acceleration, 77 speed, and 74 tackle. (21 cap)

77 Category

Rashard Higgins, wide receiver of the Cleveland Browns had the only touchdown of the game catching a 19 yard pass from Baker Mayfield as the Browns beat the Ravens 12-9. This card has 83 speed, 81 jumping, and 75 catching. (21 cap)

Romeo Okwara, the right end of the Detroit Lions had a career high 2 sacks and a forced fumble that was recovered by his defense. The 6’5 end has 80 acceleration, 76 strength, and 74 speed. (22 cap)
