Formation: Gun Split Close Pats

Play: X Drag Trail

Setup:

1. Put the X/Square receiver on a fade route
2. Motion the A/X tight end to the side of the field with the X/Square receiver
3. Block the running back
4. Slide protect to the side you are rolling out too

Reads:

1. The read on this play is the X/Square receiver deep

Overview: This play bombs cover 3 and cover 4 defenses. You must run this play to the wide side of the field so there is enough space for the X/Square receiver to get past the coverage. The motion is what gets the X/Square receiver open deep for potentially 6 points.
