In today’s Madden School tip, we are going over a way to beat cover 2 defenses in Madden 18. We can do it from the same play that also beats cover 3 defenses with a slightly different setup.

Playbook: Indianapolis Colts
Formation: Gun Bunch
Play: Deep Corner (vs Cover 2)
Setup:
- Put the wide receiver that isn’t in the bunch on a curl route.
Reads:
- We are looking to throw it deep to our receiver on the post route.
Overview: To compliment our cover 3 beater from gun bunch, we also have another setup out of the same play that torches cover 2.
We have a high low read on the left side with the flat route and corner, and then the deep post over the middle that absolutely kills cover 2 because it gets right in between the two deep safeties.
