Madden 18: Strong H Slot – PA Post Shot (Cover 3 Beater)

In today’s Madden School tip, Stickwork is going over one way he uses to beat cover 3 defenses deep in Madden 18.

Playbook: Dallas Cowboys

Formation: Strong H Slot

Play: PA Post Shot

Setup:

1. Put your running back on an out route and motion him to the right
2. Max protect your line and slide right

Reads:

1. Hit the B/circle receiver deep to the right side of the field

Overview: This is specifically how to bomb a Cover 3 style defense. The B/circle receiver is going to get behind the zones every time leading to a huge gain or most likely a touchdown.

You will want to run this play to the wide side of the field.  So if you are bombing the ball deep to the right, you will want to be on the left hash.
