Cover 3 is one of the most common defenses in Madden 17. Today we are going over a play that gets our running back open for 20-30 yards against cover 3 defenses.

Formation: Gun Spread Y-flex
Play: PA Under
Setup:
- Put the Y/triangle receiver on a streak route
- Motion the Y/triangle receiver over to the other side
- Put the Rb/R1 receiver on a wheel route
Reads:
- The first read is Rb/R1 out of the backfield
- The second read is the X/square receiver on the in route
Overview: This is a great play if your opponent runs a lot of cover 3. You must mix in other plays from this formation in order for it to be effective.
