This year they made usering your guy on defense much slower so you won’t be able to cover as much field. With today’s tip you should be able to cover much more ground.

The key to making this work is to put the guy you are user controlling on any play into a QB Spy. You can also hot route your player to a blitz and it will have the same effect.
If you take it into practice mode or a meaningless game, you will definitely be able to see a difference in speed and agility.
This is something that you should be doing at all times on defense.
Will this work for bluff blitzing as well?
There really isn’t a reason to bluff blitz when using this.

So when I put the linebacker I’m usering in a qb spy when you I take control of him to roam the field

If you put a player that has lurker or mid-zone KO abilities in a blitz from a yellow zone, do they still have their abilities? its unclear from the madden official descriptions, but it seems like it would not be active when these players are in blitz or spy.
Can you guys verify what the case actually is?

Could you guys publish a stick mechanics guide on usering? Some of the matches I watch the players are moving and strafing way faster than I’ve been able to achieve
Older maddens had mentioned a “strafe burst tackle” method that seemed like it might be what people are doing but I don’t see any official mention of it anymore
