Play: Flanker Dig

Setup:

  1. Hot route your Y/triangle receiver to a streak route
  2. Hot route your X/square receiver to a comeback route

Reads:

  1. Against man to man defense, look to your tight end
  2. Against zone defense, look to your running back
  3. You also have your receivers on the whip route and the comeback route

Overview: This is another play where if you make the correct reads it is very hard to stop.

Setup: None required

Overview: Just follow your blockers.  This play works best if your opponent is worried about your passing game.

Reads:

  1. Your main read on this play is always going to be your B/circle receiver
  2. If he is covered, look to your Y/triangle receiver in the flat or to the right side of the field

Overview: This is a great 3rd and 4 play when you need a first down.

Setup: None required

Overview: Just follow your blocks.  This is one of the most effective shotgun running plays in the game.

Play: PA Crossers

Setup:

  1. (Optional) Hot route your running back to a wheel route

Reads:

  1. Your first look is your B/circle receiver
  2. You can also hit your tight end if he is open
  3. Your Y/triangle receiver coming over the middle of the field is also a good option

Overview: This is a play to mix in every now and then but not more than maybe once a game.

Play: PA WR Screen

Setup: None Required

Reads:

  1. Your first and only read is your X/square receiver on the screen

Overview: This is a situational play that you will only want to throw in when your opponent Is in zone defense.

Hey guys . For the flanker dig play my te isn’t set up as a post in the middle . He is on a fade type route . All the other players are on the correct routes. It’s the correct formation as all other plays are in it

FYI–This is actually called TREY Y FLEX in CPBs. The one you listed, GUN TRIO OFFSET looks almost identical, but when you get into it, it’s just different enough but it does make a difference.
