Playbook: New Orleans Saints
Formation: Gun Stack Y-Flex
Play: Salem Pivot
Setup:
- Put the Y/triangle receiver on a streak route
- Put the A/X tight end on an in route
- (Recommended) Double team the outside most rusher on the left
Reads:
- Against cover 3 defenses, look to the Y/triangle receiver deep on the streak pass. Lead pass to the sideline
- Against cover 2 and cover 4, the X/square receiver should be wide open
- Then look to the tight end on the in route
- And your final read is the B/circle receiver over the middle
Overview: Make sure to run this play to the wide side of the field (When on the right hash mark or flipped if on the left hash mark). This play has reads for just about every coverage in the game. It helps, but isn’t required, to have a very fast receiver lined up in the Y/triangle spot

- If your opponent user’s the Y/triangle receiver, take your pick between your tight end on the in route and the B/circle receiver sitting in the middle of the field.
Overview: This play destroys the common zone defenses in Madden 21. Make sure to mix it into your scheme. Make sure to also run this play from the right hash mark.

Formation: Gun Stack Y-Flex
Play: Y-Sail (Cover 3 Beater)
Setup:
- Max Protect
- (Recommended) Double team the outside most pass rusher on the left
Reads:
- The main read on this play is the B/circle receiver against cover 3. You will want a fast receiver in that position and a quarterback who has high throw power. Make sure to get the timing right and lead pass it to the inside.
- Against most defenses, you can also hit the Y/triangle receiver on the zig route for a short quick pass
Overview: This play must be run from the left has mark. If you have a strong arm QB and a fast wide receiver, this play absolutely destroys cover 3. It is a completely new concept that most people have never seen before so your opponent won’t know what hit him.

- If the X/square receiver is covered, look to the whip route, scramble, or throw the ball away

As a MUT player where is the best place to practice these with my personnel?
Unfortuanely there still is no MUT practice mode so your best bet is regular practice mode
In Solo Challenges is the only real “Practice Mode”
I have noticed that this play seems to have the deep shot taken away on cover 3 every time if the defense is showing 2 or base aligned. Have you guys noticed that?
It depends on which safety is in the deep third if they are base aligned
