that run play is filth.
For the read option run play, you tell us to look for what the “read” defender is doing to decide whether to run left or right. I just want to make sure I understand from the video, which defender is the “read” defender we are to watch. Can you tell me please?
Sam C.
Hi Sam, Generally it will be the outside linebacker on the left or the defensive end on the left. When we zoom out before the play, it is the guy with the “R” above his head.
