Playbook: New York Giants

Formation: Gun Empty Bunch Wide

Play: Post Corner Read

Setup:

1. Put the RB/R1 tight end on a drag
2. Put the X/Square receiver on a drag

Reads:

1. The first reads on this play are the X/Square receiver and the RB/R1 tight end
2. Then look for the Y/Triangle receiver on the corner route
3. If that is not there look for the B/O receiver on the corner route on the right side
4. Finally, find the A/X receiver deep over the middle

Overview: On this play we essentially have a high low read on both sides of the field. This makes it extremely difficult for the defense to cover this play in zone coverage, especially with the A/X receiver’s post over the middle of the field.
