True Madden fans know that while official player ratings get the marketing hype, Superstar and X-Factor abilities are the real measure of how effective players will be in the game.
In Madden 24 there are 50 X-Factor players. These are the best of the best in the NFL. There are 27 on offense and 23 on defense.
Superstar players are also incredibly important and just one tier below X-Factors. This year there are 66 total Superstar players.
This list reflects the abilities in regular head to head mode. In Franchise mode and Ultimate Team you have a lot more flexibility to equip the abilities you want on your favorite players.
Every NFL team except the Houston Texans has at least 1 player with a Superstar ability. Other teams like the Philadelphia Eagles have been blessed with 9 Superstar players.
Some abilities are incredibly effective while others make no noticeable impact on the game.

Tre diggs is definitely a top 5 corner and ceedee plays every where he was primarily in the slot because they didn’t have a slot receiver last year he’ll be outside this year for the most part
PFF have Tre Diggs as #8 ranked corner in football last season, Madden he’s joint 11th highest rated corner. Both seem there or there abouts. Top 10 YES… Top 5 NO
How rodgers don’t have gun slinger and jalen hurts and T-Law do? As well as D hop a all time type of receiver not have any abilities again.
Gunslinger isn’t nearly as good as it has been in the past. This year the pass leading abilities are by far the most important for quarterbacks which Rodgers does have.
He still should have it though there’s no reason he shouldn’t have it

Neal was underwhelming and should’ve lost them last year, and Jackson got benched sometime last year so it makes sense.
There are players that went to the probowl last year that don’t even have an 80 or above overall that’s ridiculous and every player that’s on the NFL top 100 this year should have an X-Factor or a superstar ability on madden to start the season
Well the Pro Bowl is kind of a joke nowadays, because it’s based off of only reputation. Same with the top 100, although it’s not as bad. If you want some better rankings of players check out PFF.com and the PFF NFL podcast.
