Check it out the Singleback Bunch TE mini scheme (for beginners) below!

Playbook: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Formation: Singleback Bunch TE

Play: Stretch Alert Bubble

Setup:

  1. We usually run the stretch to the wide side of the field with the bubble screen to the short side

Reads:

  1. Read the defender lined up over the bubble screen. If his first step is towards the line of scrimmage or towards the sideline, hand the ball off to the running back. If not, throw the bubble screen

Overview: Ideally we’d prefer to throw the bubble screen but you have to take what the defense gives you.

Playbook: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Formation: Singleback Bunch TE

Play: Cross Drag

Setup: None required

Reads:

  1. Your first read is your tight end on the drag route
  2. If he is covered, look to the three receivers coming across the field the other way

Overview: Most of the time you can just hit your tight end on the drag route for an easy 10 yards.

Playbook: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
