Playbook: Minnesota Vikings
Formation: 3-3-5 Over Flex
Play: Cover 4 Drop Field
Setup:
- Shift your defensive line to the left
- Show blitz
- Blitz your linebacker on the left
Overview: This is a 4 man rush that gets pressure from the left side of the screen if you opponent is sending 5 guys out on routes.
Ideally, you’ll want to mix this in with the other plays from our Madden 26 Minnesota Defensive eBook but you can also use it as just a 1 time blitz.
Let’s take a closer look at how this play works:
This is how the pre-play setup should look. Remember you can adjust the coverage behind the blitz however you’d like.
As long as your opponent isn’t blocking extra guys, your linebacker on the left should look around between the left tackle and the left guard coming in free through the B-Gap.
If you can successfully take away your opponent’s first read, the play should result in a sack.
