Play: Overload 3 Seam

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Slant inside the defensive line

Overview: This play blitzes 5 people and the cornerback is going to come in untouched with a direct angle to the QB. Sub in a fast corner and it will make the blitz even faster giving your opponent less time to make a decision.

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Press Coverage
3. Spread the defensive line
4. Slant inside the defensive line

Overview: Here we are sending six people on a blitz. However, in doing so we are getting two corners coming untouched at the QB. Even if your opponent blocks an extra guy at least one person will still come in free.

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Press Coverage (Optional)
3. Adjust zones accordingly to your opponent

Overview: This is a very effective coverage defense to mix in against your opponent from this formation. We have sent a lot of heat in previous plays so mixing it up with this defense can force your opponent to throwing a quick pass thinking a blitz is coming.

Setup:

1. Base Align
2. Press coverage
3. Pinch and crash your DL down
4. Pinch your linebackers

Overview: The pressure should come from the linebacker between the LT and the LG.

1. Base Align
2. Blitz the slot cornerback on the left
3. Put your blitzing LB on the left into a zone

Overview: I like this play because you don’t have to use press coverage but you can still bring quick pressure.
