Rookies that come into Madden 24 with Star or Superstar development traits right from the jump are some of the easiest players to progress in Madden 24’s franchise mode.
Rookies come in with “Hidden” development traits so you won’t immediately see whether a player has Superstar or Star development until they play 500 snaps in your league.
This is also why if you are playing regular Head to Head games, rookies will not have superstar abilities.
In franchise mode only 3 rookies will be have the superstar development trait while there are about 50 rookies with Star development.
The Detroit Lions have 4 rookies with Star development while the Eagles, Falcons, Cowboys, Texans, and Colts all got 3 rookies with Star development or higher.
It comes as no surprise that there aren’t any rookies with X-Factor development right off the bat.
Any rookie not listed on here will start off with Normal development.
All hope is not lost though if your favorite player(s) don’t have the development trait you want from the start. Just like in previous Madden games, you will have chances for breakout games or end of the season development bumps for any player on your team.
