Playbook: Baltimore Ravens

Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6 Will

Play: Tampa 2

Setup:

  1. Shift and crash your defensive line to the left
  2. QB Contain or put your DE on the right into a QB Spy and manually control him
  3. Put your MLB on the right into a deep blue zone

Overview: This is a great 3 man blitz that brings pressure against 5 man blocking schemes.  If it isn’t coming through, move your blitzing LB a step or 2 to the right.

Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6 Will

Play: Tampa 2 (Part 2)

Setup:

  1. Shift and crash your defensive line to the left
  2. Press coverage
  3. Blitz your slot CB on the left side of the screen
  4. Put your DE on the right into a QB Spy and manually control him
  5. Put your MLB on the right into a deep blue zone

Overview: This make it a 4 man rush but it makes the pressure much more consistent and harder to pick up.

Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6 Will

Play: Cover 2 Man

Setup:

  1. Shift and crash your defensive line to the left
  2. Put your DE on the right into a QB Spy and manually control him

Overview: This is the man to man version of the tampa 2 blitz.  Mix this in so your opponent can’t get used to zone coverage.

Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6 Will

Play: Cover 1 Contain Spy

Setup:

  1. Shift and crash your defensive line to the left
  2. Put your DE on the right into a QB Spy and manually control him
  3. Put your MLB in the QB spy into a zone

Overview: This is another way to mix up your coverages with the same blitz

Playbook: Baltimore Ravens

Formation: Big Dime 2-3-6 Will

Play: Cover 3 Hard Flat

Setup:

  1. Base Align
  2. Press Coverage
  3. Shift and crash your defensive line to the left
  4. Put your OLB on the left into a zone or man to man coverage
  5. (Optional) Shade coverage over the top
  6. (Optional) Put your DT into a QB spy

Overview: This is a 2 man rush that works extremely well especially once your opponent starts blocking an extra guy on the left or starts slide protecting left.
