Charles Clay Buffalo Bills

Clay is rated an 80 overall, and makes a great pass catching tight end in Madden 18. The Bills TE has an awesome set of receiving ratings including an 87 CTH, 84 CIT, and an 81 RTE. Clay’s 83 SPD also contributes to his pass catching ability as he can out run some slower linebackers. Add in his positive RAC and Possession traits, and Clay is definitely one of the pass catching tight ends to watch for in Madden 18.

OJ Howard Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Howard is rated an 80 overall, same as he was in our rookie ratings predictions, and he can really stretch the field for you in Madden 18. Howard has a blazing 87 SPD rating with Aggressive and RAC catching traits. The rookie TE gives you a positive Clutch trait plus a High Motor trait to go along with his 82 CTH rating. He does have room to improve, especially in the RTE department. Nonetheless, Howard makes our list of pass catching tight ends to watch for in Madden 18.

Austin Sefarian-Jenkins New York Jets

Jenkins is rated an 82 overall and with his 87 SPD, he makes a great option deep over the middle. The Jets are definitely lacking playmakers, but Sefarian-Jenkins gives you something to work with at the TE spot. Jenkins has a 83 CTH rating to go with his 78 CIT rating. Add in Jenkins has both Possession and Aggressive catch traits, and he makes a great pass catching tight end to watch for in Madden 18.

Coby Fleener New Orleans Saints

Fleener is rated an 81 overall and is one of many weapons to choose from across the Saints deadly offense. Fleener has an 84 CTH rating to go along with his RAC trait. His 79 CIT, 78 RTE, and 82 AWR all make Fleener a top pass catching tight end.

Kyle Rudolph Minnesota Vikings

Rudolph’s 84 overall rating seems a bit low. His name is often left out of the top Madden tight end conversation, but he can make some plays for you. Rudolph has an outrageous 92 CTH rating to go with his 85 CIT and 90 AWR. Add in the fact that Rudolph has positive RAC, Aggressive, and Possession traits, and that 84 overall seems extremely low. Rudolph is definitely one of the top pass catching tight ends in Madden 18.

Jack Doyle Indianapolis Colts

Doyle is still an unknown player in Madden 18, but his solid 83 overall suggests we should start paying attention to him. Doyle has a whopping 88 CTH rating to go with his 79 CIT, and 74 RTE ratings. Doyle is quickly becoming one of the best young tight ends in Madden 18. His 77 SPD is measly and leaves a lot to be desired from a top pass catching tight end. Regardless, Doyle has positive Possession and RAC traits to go along with all of his other top skills making him one of our pass catching tight ends to watch for in Madden 18.
