Top 5 Teams To Rebuild in Madden 20 Franchise Mode

Each and every year, an unexpected team rises from mediocrity to become a playoff contender – or better yet, a Super Bowl Champion.  The same holds true in Madden.

However, unlike its real-life counterpart, passionate gamers have a very good chance to alter this outcome. Although there are 32 NFL teams, only a handful can be considered the perfect rebuild option in Madden 20 franchise mode.

Here are our top 5 teams to rebuilds in Madden 20.

5. Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati finally moved on from Marvin Lewis and in doing so, brought in one of the league’s youngest offensive minds in Zac Taylor.  And although the Bengals are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback, they have several pieces that should get you excited in this year’s game.

Joe Mixon could likely be one of the league’s best running backs. Coupled with an offense that consists of A.J. Green and John Ross, big things are expected from the young group of wide outs.

Defensively, the Bengals have a lot of potential. Players like Jordan Willis, Carlos Dunlap, Nick Vigil, and William Jackson, help mold one of the better defensive units in football.

Cincinnati might not look it now, but they’re an elite quarterback away from being a potential playoff contender.

4. New York Giants

We were all in disbelief, when the New York Giants drafted Daniel Jones despite superior talent available but enough about Jones. The Giants have one of the best young players in Madden 20 and his name is Saquon Barkley.

Aside from Barkley, the offense has a decent amount of weapons returning from the 2018. Those weapons include Evan Engram and Sterling Shephard. They also added Golden Tate and Corey Coleman in the offseason.

On defense, the Giants have some young pieces to work with.  Whether or not you’re a fan of Big Blue you should heavily consider using them in Madden 20 franchise mode.

3. Washington

The addition of Dwayne Haskins instantly makes Washington a great team to rebuild. They are in much better shape than they were a season ago. With a backfield littered with potential starting running backs including Adrian Peterson, Derrius Guice, and Bryce Love, there’s plenty of potential for the ground and pound.

In fact, maybe you can trade one of those players to get some help at wide receiver. Jordan Reed is still a serviceable TE, so there’s potential to make big plays.

On defense, Washington’s front-7 is one of the better units in the game. They have young players like Ryan Kerrigan, Jonathan Allen, and Montez Sweat up front.  They have a formidable secondary that consists of Josh Norman and Landon Collins so the potential for long lasting success is there. They just need a little help.

2. Miami Dolphins

Miami might be one of the top 5 lowest rated teams in Madden 20 but don’t let that fool you. There’s plenty of potential throughout the roster. Josh Rosen is only 22 and with a backfield of Kenyan Drake, Kalen Ballage, and Mark Walton, there’s plenty of potential for a successful run game.

On the offensive line, Laremy Tunsil is one of the league’s top tackles. Speedy receivers like Jakeem Grant, Albert Wilson, and Kenny Stills, provide plenty of offensive weapons for teams looking to exploit defenses using speed.  Big bodied pass catchers Mike Gesicki and DeVante Parker round out one of the more-underrated units in Madden.

Lastly, the Dolphins defense has plenty of potential difference makers throughout.  Xavien Howard is one of the best defensive backs in football and with Minkah Fitzpatrick and Reshad Jones playing deep, there should be no excuse to give up the big play.  And let’s not forget about Christian Wilkins, Raekwon McMillan, Jerome Baker and Kiko Alonso.

1. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals coming in at #1 should surprise no one, considering the changes they made on both sides of the football this offseason. Kyler Murray has the potential to be this Madden generations Michael Vick.

With a young, fast, #1 overall pick quarterback, you can command anything you want on the trade market. Or just keep him and develop him into a star in a few seasons.

Furthermore, the cardinals have a group of skilled players is as explosive as any. David Johnson remains one of the league’s best running backs and a receiving core of Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, Andy Isabella, and Hakeem Butler will be scary to try to defend.

Defensively, Arizona is no slouch. Pass rushers Chandler Jones, Terrell Suggs, and Haason Reddick will cause opposing QBs nightmares. Furthermore, they have a decent young secondary that includes disgruntled Patrick Peterson, along with Budda Baker and D.J Swearinger which should help compliment the pass rush.
