- If you see your tight end open in the flat, throw a bullet pass to him
- If not, hand the ball off to your running back
Overview: This play does a great job of beating a ton of different man coverages, but it also beats most zone defenses as well.
If your opponent is running a Cover 0 blitz, you can sometimes get a 1 play touchdown.
Let’s take a closer look at how this works!
This is your pre-snap play art. You will generally want to run this from either the left hash mark or the center of the field.
Right away, we can see our RB/R1 slot receiver go to block the safety that is in man to man coverage on our tight end.
When we make the catch, we have a ton of open space in front of us.
With a fast tight end, we turn this play into a touchdown.
